Hi all,

Thinking about doing a camping roadtrip to the south of France in the missus's TT roadster!
Problem is it only has a boot and not a massive one at that!
Has anyone done it? Obviously need to travel light!

Did a similiar thing 2 years back in a Boxster s going to Cornwall, which was no problem as they have a boot at the front and back so had loads of space in comparison!

She would be happy to compromise on her luggage scratchchin

any tips? (apart from get a Boxster!)

shouldn't really be a problem, depends how many days you're going for and how much she packs.

where are you planning to go?

I've done Italy a couple of times in a car that has no luggage space at all (unless you can't where the briefcase is supposed to go as luggage space). You just need to be economical with what you pack, halve what you think you need, and budget for buying a couple of t-shirts whilst you're away.

Plenty of traffic down that way in August - roads are jammers with frogs in their campervans. The last 3-5k into/out of St Trops can take 40mins-hr at the end of the day when people are leaving the beaches.
