Straightliners RWYB 1/4mile, 3rd/4th may-Kirkbride Cumbria

Hi all,
First post, and it's to let everyone know about this weekend.

Straightliners are at Kirkbride Airfield in Cumbria this weekend doing a Run what you brung for any cars and bikes.

I am going with a number of people and if it's a good turnout they will be back again, which would be great for us here in the north without easy access to the southern drag strips!

It's about £30 for unlimited 1/4 mile runs and you can enter any car or bike you want.

Make sure you bring a helmet and driving licence!

Forgot to say, it's apparently not just for road legal vehicles, some people are taking mad stuff like Autograss Stock cars and 250cc gearbox karts etc! Should be a spectacle!

But best check with Trevor before making the trip!
