Couple of hotel recommendations (Amsterdam and Stuttgart)
Discussion
We're a few days away from going off on a trip to Lake Garda in the car
anyway on the way back we're aiming to visit the Porsche museum in Stuttgart and last stop before home is Amsterdam.
Just wondered if anyone had any recommendations of hotels in either place? Sub £100 per night would be good and on site parking. In the 'dam we'll be having a night out and obligatory red light area visit so somewhere close enough to cab into the city would be good. Don't fancy leaving the car anywhere dodgy!
Thanks in advance.

Did the Stuttgart trip in my V6 Clio at the beginning of this month...
Stayed at the IBIS Stuttgart City.
€68 a night, secure parking €7 per day, comfy rooms, a bar with good local lager, reasonable food 24/7 and nice staff.
5 minute walk to either the railway or tram at Nordbahnof. €2 each way or €9.70 for an all stops all day pass.
On railway, Porsche is one stop away (on S5 route I think), Mercedes a couple the other. You can't miss either.
For Mercedes you go into the main station (Hauptbahnhof), jump off one train, walk across a platform, hop on an S1 train and it's a couple more stops - Neckarpark. Well sign-posted.
Give both a fair bit of time and wear some comfy shoes!
If you like a steak, can recommend the Block House at Arnulf-Klett-Platz 3 - just outside one of the main station exits.
Enjoy!
