Dorset PH Charity Meets - Sunday 21 June & Sunday 19 July
Discussion
PHers,
The south west forum is organising two large PH gatherings in aid of the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance, a service some of us may one day need. It should be a good day out to meet fellow enthusiasts in the beautiful grounds of two historic Dorset homes.

Both will feature a charity raffle with great prizes, plus an enjoyable, spirited drive through the Dorset countryside.
All PHers are welcome whatever you drive and wherever you come from, but obviously it is preferred that you bring your performance car.
We already have a great variety of cars attending, but more is always better. Come and have a good chat about cars, win a prize and then put your foot down with Lamborghinis and TVRs - all whilst raising money for the charity!

The Events
The Raleigh Rally - Sunday 21st June
Being held at Sherborne Castle from 10.30am. Admission is £2.50 per person.
Motors at the Manor - Sunday 19th July
Being held at Kingston Lacy Estate from 10.30am. Admission is £7.50 per car so bringing your family makes sense.

To Attend
All are welcome but PLEASE go to the thread above and tell us which dates you are hoping to attend, so that we can keep track of numbers and ensure everyone knows what cool cars will be arriving!
Please do not just turn up on the day as you will be charged full admission - you need to download and print the admission pass that is available via the link on the thread above.
If you know anyone who may be interested, please consider forwarding the details to them.
Thanks.

As I've forgot to download and print off my admission pass will I still be able to get into the show does anybody know ?
I'm sure you will, only you won't get the discount. If you were in the Ginetta though I expect the gate would recognise you're part of the whole event though

So who won the raffle then ?! Where are the numbers going to be posted or would you have had to have been there when the raffle took place to win ?
See the main thread. There were ten winners that had gone home - I will be posting all the details this evening and it will be first come, first served on the prizes.Update
The event on Sunday at Sherborne Castle was attended by about 120 cars and raised almost £700 for the Air Ambulance. It costs £3500 per day to keep the ambulance flying, so this money is very sorely needed.

Thread with lots of pictures
After the main meeting we visited the Air Ambulance base to meet the crew. Whilst there we conducted a sound test to see who was noisiest - 1st was Macey in his TVR Tuscan (115db), who won the bottle of wine and Noisy Bugger trophy; 2nd was Foundy's Ferrari (113db) and joint 3rd was Duesey's vintage Lagonda and Chimtvr's Corvette (112db).
We also took pictures of our cars around the helicopter and the crew were kind enough to answer some of our questions, e.g.

Due to advancing time, the countryside drive suffered by a number of us made the trip down to the coast:

Hope you can make it!
