Nürburgring Trip

I'm off to the Nürburgring on Thursday 20th August, catching the eurotunnel early afternoon and heading straight to the 'ring. I'm travelling by myself, in my MX5 and meeting some friends out there. Just wondered if anyone else is going out around the same time and wanted to travel together. I've been a few times before, so would be ideal if anyone hasn't been before (can show you the ropes etc etc).

I'm planning on going to the ring around the 20th on my way back up from the alps. Hoping to get a few mates from UK to meet me there. Where abouts are you heading down from? My mates will be coming from Surrey / Hampshire(Guildford area)

Can you tell me what time the Ring is open to the public that day?

I'm heading down from Teesside and taking the tunnel early afternoon on the 20th. Track is open the afternoon of the 21st and all day Saturday and Sunday (Think it might be open Monday too).
