All marques trip to the Nurburgring - Aug 2009

Hi all!
I am planning on heading to the Ring in late August with a few friends of mine. I just thought I would open it up to everyone and anyone to come along.
I currently live in Germany and have access to loads of info for places to stay and am quite happy to put something together.
I am looking to go on the weekend of the 28,29 & 30th, having a full day on Saturday at the ring.
If you are free on these dates and are interested in joining me let me know and give me any ideas you have. If there is enough I can book Hotels/Campsites and plan routes.

There are some cracking pics on there! Will defo keep it in mind! I am in Gutersloh, you can probably guees what job I do now!!

I am also free on those dates too! I am very flexable on dates between those weekends. I was chatting so someone in work today who went to the GP on the weekend and said there are some great campsites there if thats what you fancy. He paid 140 euro per night for a Hotel (F1 Weekend price!).

you may want to pick a different weekend, it will be rammed as 25,000 people are expected for the Rudolf Caracciola weekend event
The Ring and F1 track are closed for certain times for private hire,
some of my club mates are going over for the track time, there will be no other groups and drivers on the F1 and Nordschleife during the 2.5 hours between 10.00 am and 1.30 pm (their time slot) except the invited 70 cars

Hotels: I can recommend the Blue Ecke in Adenau. It was brilliant. We were there in May and prices then were about 110 Euros a night for a double room. Accomodation was good, Food was good and Beer was good. About 8km from the main entrance to the Nurburgring.
