Asda Charity Day 2nd August - Bruntingthorpe.
Discussion
Hi all
I have been asked by Cervini ( Steve) to share this with you all.
We have been invited to run a pit gate for 6 vehicles and therefore require between 15 - 20 Exotic/Fast or unusual vehicles for the day to run the paying public around the track the proceeds of which go to the adopted charities at this moment still to be decided. However, I have been told that £27000 was handed over last week to various charities.
"Attractions On The Day"
Besides our involvement in driving the public in a High Performance Car on its own track for - £5.00
Ride passenger in a high performance Rally Car on its own track for - £5.00
Ride passenger in a 4x4 Land Rover on a dedicated 4x4 course for - £5.00

Thats good news about the noise! At Bruntingthorpe you used hear my car two Villages down.
It's been made quieter now though, and it seems a bit of throttle feathering will help.
I remember the chief noise complaintant there was a guy who lived next to the main gate, and only for two years. (Quite why he bought a place there then realised he did not like the noise is beyond me??) After a trackday, a chap in a Lotus Elise floored it coming out of the gate, lost control and ended up in the guys front garden apparently! I'd have loved to have seen his face!!!!!
