Quick update. the run is still going ahead, has drawn good attention from a variety of kit cars. there are 2 'organized' runs:
Wrotham, the Moat Restaurant, London Road,( 7oaks kent) leaves 09.30
Newlands Corner ( shere/guildford) - leaves 09.30
Both runs will set off heading to Bentley Wildfowl /Motor Museum nr Lewes in E.Sussex. For those that can't make those start points they are welcome just to figure out their own route to Bentley. All cars are aiming to get there for 11.00.
As many of the cars are soft tops final numbers are weather dependant - so far we've got approx 50 cars/owners attending. Great excuse for a run out and a chance to meet a number of likeminded owners.

Very nice set of photos and glad to see you captured mine ( last shot page 1, dark green cob)

Just a shame so many dissapeared early on, by 4pm there were very few of us left, in fact 3 cobs plus a couple of others !!

I was there at 10:40 and left just after the GT40's went.
Sadly I only got the one photo of your Cobra.
Someone should organise an AC meet. I don't think Bentley has anything else on for the rest of the year.

A big thank you and well done to Mark for putting a great day together. Hopefully more of the same to come?!
Sorry I disappointed you by turning up in my daily driver, but Rat Dawg and I had a good day all the same....next time I'll dig out my plastic snake for you.
Good to catch up with some old faces...and to meet some new.

Blib: if you'd care to PM /emailme will gladly keep you posted for next event. was on here in a cple of places a few weeks back with little interest. the last post was a 'just in case job'.

Stew: all those lovely photos and not one of the 'gulfed' Tiger :-)

As a 1st attempt at doing something like this i thought the turnout was brilliant. need those that came to pass on the message to others so that we can make the next one equally good. Have been collating email ID's / locations, so that its possible to tweak the location to get maximum effect - so anyone that hasnt done so already welcome to email me and i'll gladly make a notce for future runs/meets - whether more localized gatherings or a bigger event like this one. many thx MG

I was at the Jap Bash for a few hours. Found it kind of dull compared to the kit cars. I really am more of the classic car person. even though I wear a SWRT shirt 90% of the time biggrin

I took a pic of every kit car (I think) wink
I took 8 photos of your Tiger.

I plan on modelling it for GTR2 and such after I've finished my G50.

Feel free to email me about events happening in East Sussex.
I would go to Brighton Speed Trials.. but I just don't like driving around Brighton.

Can you be more specific.
I have 305 (the extra one was a funny one) at about 2.60MB each. which comes to about 765MB.
If you want all of them, send me an email and I'll have a go at putting them on a CD or DVD for you.

Mr G
I assume you got the ones I fired across today and have lots on a USB for you. Likewise, it's a big file so have downsized the earlier ones.
