Pistonheads Westfield experience today
Discussion
Can't find a thread on this, so I'll start one just to say thanks for an excellent event.
It was really relaxed, well organised with loads of seat time and was massive fun! Best driving experience I've been on by far. Although maybe coming 2nd in the final timed test may have coloured my view on that
Especially loved the fact that we were allowed to drive the cars alone and were given the space and time to practice chucking the cars about without the restrictions I've had on the supercar and the rally day I've been on in the past.
Great to meet a few fellow Pistonheaders too. Stephen - are you going to get a Westfield and race next year?

I'll second that, a big thanks to Steve Hindle, the Jamie's, Russ and Jamie's girlfriend for a fantastic day despite the weather!
If anyone is looking for a proper driving experiance day the Westfield day can't be beaten.
In the final timed run, the top 5 drivers were separated by 0.5 seconds which shows how close it was.
Congratulaions Steve on your second. I'm still kicking myself that I spun it on my first timed run!
And yes, I spent the whole evening trying to convince the Mrs. that our (my!) life would be so much better if I raced Westfields next year so watch this space!

Slow response from a Sunday driver.
Absolutely brilliant day and would love to do it again. Plenty of time behind the wheel and great hands off instruction from the Jamie's. Thanks to all at Westfield for putting this together despite the awful conditions. Highly recommend it to anyone.
The only gripe was that I was just beginning to get the idea behind it when the day came to a close and would like to have been able to spend a bit more time practising. Not a reflection on Westfield more on my slow learning.
