Very worrying .
Maybe we all start up a petition to keep Brunters going .
I'm sure there will more support to cancel out the negativety from a few locals , altough I can understand their plight ,but Brunters and assosiated noises were probably there before them....??
Just my tuppence worth.

Many moons ago, the Aerodrome I worked at faced closure due to noise related issues similar to the ones at Brunters.
The canny airfield operator submitted a planning application to convert the airfield into a permanant static traveller site, citing the loss of revenue as an active airfield as the reason for the change of use. The noise abatement vigilanties were practically physically threatened by the rest of the locals to withdraw their petition.
Its still an Aerodrome
I think the Government are actively seeking sites for travellers at the moment arn`t they?

We've just been banned from Kemble airfield a few weeks ago. Someone who lives 10 feet from the airfield moaned to the council about us. The council was waiting for us about 8 am. Got told to pack up. We all pass the noise test at combe!! I think this person has got an on going thing with Kemble and he just happened to pick on us that day. I mean they do alot of F1 testing there and all the jets and jumbo's are louder than a few scoobys!!
from the article "Mr Lamber also complained about drivers heading to and from the site along country lanes." so now they want there own bloody motorway do they
surely the meeting should of gone along the lines of.
so how many people have had their home in the family before it was an airfield, right you three can stay all others first door on the right please.
