This is a quick post to say that there is a Kent Car Club meet on the 13th of December so if anyone is interested in attending, the details are as follows:

Date: Sunday 13th December
Time: 10:00am
Starting Location: Ivy Lane Car Park - Central Canterbury
End Location: To be confirmed

The club running the event is for anyone who drives a Japanese car of some description (currently the majority have Mr2s) so feel free to come along if you fall into that category, it looks like it will be 2 hour drive through some of mid-Kents more enjoyable roads ending with a pub lunch for those who want to hang around and socialise.

Yeah I know it's a bad time of year, just trying to fill in the gap between the end of this years meets and the start of next years.

Got a handful of names down through the car club so hopefully will have a few other people joining us from here. Even if we only have 5 cars that'll make it worth it (currently have 3 attending).

Well, it's a small number but hey, gotta start somewhere, right?

Well nothing too fancy - just glad it's not just MR2's.

2x Mr2 turbos
1x Honda Civic
1x Subaru

Plus another car thats not Jap but should fit in a-ok.

If you know of anyone else who drives a Jap car and want's to go for a nice Sunday drive then get them to come along as well.

Each time an event is run it will most likely have a different starting location so if it is closer to your end of Kent (EG Maidstone) would that make it something you'd be happy to join in with?

I love those little cars!

Bromley or Dartford is that side of Kent! Maidstone is just down the road!

Well see I'm stuck up in Bucks. And we have no Jap car Club.... damnit! But I'll be sure to keep my ear to the ground, and maybe just suck it up and drive round...

Perhaps we can get something going in the new year?

I have no idea which roads are any good around that side of London (only Kent and South East coastline) but as the weather improves into next year I'm sure we'll find ourselves travelling further afield.

I'll have to speak with other club founders related to expanding to allow non-jap car owners to our events (and to join our club!). I can't say any more than that because I don't want to feel the wrath of the pistonheads admins and becoming blocked from publicising our events.

In the future if there is any change on the types of vehicles encouraged to join our club this will be detailed alongside the event when posted here.
