PH Show Opens Its Doors This Week
Blow away the winter blues with a fix of performance metal
January often means cold weather and the post-Christmas blues, so why not cheer yourself up with a visit to the PistonHeads Performance Car Show?
That's right, our very own motor show is on at the NEC in Birmingham, and runs from 14-17 January.
On display will be some of the best examples PHers' own metal, ranging from a Lotus Exige with a supercharged Honda engine to a super-rare Bitter sports saloon (and everything in between, including the TVR from the movie Swordfish).
As well as the members' cars, the eagerly awaited Aspira F620 supercar is making its public debut, and you'll also be able to see the new Noble M600, Lamborghini Murcielago SV, and many more stunning performance cars in the metal.
There's also plenty more esoteric stuff on show, including a full-scale mock up of the Bloodhound SSC - the car that creator Richard Noble wants to use to break the 1000mph barrier.
Even if you tire of looking at the static displays (deeply unlikely, we know) you'll be able to have a go at the Nissan/Playstation GT Academy time trial for a chance to become a real racing driver.
Oh, and the PH Performance Car Show tickets will also get you entry to the Autosport International motorsports show...
So come on, brave the (thawing) snow and get on over to the NEC.

Detroit Show entry fee - £7.50
It's a No Show show for me.
However to get to Detroit you need to factor in the cost of a plane ticket
