Supercar picnic Saturday 10th July @ Hever Castle

Here we go again............

LCUK would like to invite all super/sports car owners to their Summer Picnic!!

Date: SATURDAY 10th July
Time: 10.30am onwards
Location: Hever Castle

Cost: just your admittance fee into the Castle grounds is £8.50 or £8.00 for OAP’s!!!!!

What to bring: yourselves! a car! and a picnic!! (oh yes, and some champagne)!!!

We have been allowed to park on the green directly in front of the Castle, which will make for some truly stunning pictures! So please get there early if you want to take "un crowded" pictures.


Arrival instructions:
Go to the MAIN gate and select the left hand lane. There will be Marshalls in place to guide you down to the gardens. If you need to quote it, our booking ref number for this event is: Booking ref: 59013

Please can you advise me if you will be attending this event as we need to give Hever castle a clear idea on numbers.

Dear All,

Details / Instructions for the Hever Castle SATURDAY 10th July - gates open at 10.30am

Directions:

Enter through the main gate only. Hever Castle is situated three miles South East of Edenbridge off the B2026 between Sevenoaks and East Grinstead in the village of Hever. Situated 30 miles from London in West Kent, exit the M25 at junctions 5 or 6 and follow the Brown tourist signs. Also well signed from the Hildenborough exit of the A21.

Parking:
We have been allowed to park in front of the Castle overlooking the outer moat. Please park all facing the same way (purely for photo reasons). Marshalls will guide you to our parking area, but it is your own responsibility to park neatly and leaving enough room between cars.

What to bring:
A picnic and Champers!! (oh, and a nice car!)…. and a camera!

Admission price:
Please say that you are part of the Lamborghini Club picnic and if necessary quote Hever Castle booking ref number: 55418. Please note - the admission price is what Hever castle charge to enter the grounds..

Rowing Boats:
Traditional rowing boats are available for hire from 11am until 5pm at weekends (£10 for an hour) from the boathouse on the lakeside near the Loggia. Available weekends and school holidays from April (depending on the weather).- If you plan to go on the boating lake, suggest you bring a change clothing!!! - it got a bit moist last year!!

Convoy:
For those wishing to get there early…… A convoy will be leaving the Brook street services (the A12 / M25 junction) at 9.45am. I will already be at Hever to sort parking for your arrival.

Parking in front of the Castle is for ALL super/sports car - parking is NOT segregated in any!! (although we may make an exception to this rule for red Griffs!!)

The website mentions a seperate price for "castle" and "castle and gardens", i take it the 8.50 is for both ? and per person not per car ?

It is £8.50 each / per person (or £8 if you are over 60!!).
It is another couple of quid to get into the castle.
