Following on from the success that was The Surrey Run We're now doing a Sussex Run!

DATE - Sunday 11th July. 6am at Tesco Hazelwick for 6.15am kick off.

This is the address:
CRAWLEY HAZELWICK EXTRA
HAZELWICK AVENUE,
CRAWLEY,
WEST SUSSEX,
RH10 1GY.

We've gone for an early start so that we get an epically traffic free run down. The weather forecast it looking good, which will make it even better!

The route will lead us along some lovely roads all the way to Eastboarne.

Here is a photo I took of the road up to the finishing point:

To get the route, you need to email me through my profile: GFWilliams
I'll send you an itn file and a link to the route on Google Maps. I don't have the time to go through everyone's profile (unless someone wants to do it on my behalf?)

There isn't much more to say other than this is just a drive between mates and that you are responsible for how you drive. There were some comments about the speeds in the lower speed limit areas, so this time the lead car will be dead on the speed limit through them smile Keep it safe people!

If you know anyone who might be interested in the run, please invite them along (just don't invite the pikeys wink)

See you all on Sunday smile

George

Ending near Eastbourne now then? Good on you for agreeing to take it slower through the lower speed limits, I like that.

PS don't drive behind me in a convertible unless you fancy hearing my exhaust the whole time; t'is the size of a scud launcher and makes more pops than popping candy.

Looks a superb run! Can't wait, we have the weather on our side it seems as well. What are we doing when we get to Eastbourne? Breakfast? If not, is there anything reccomended we do along the coast back to Portmouth to the Isle of Wight? Cheers smile

That would make a change for me as I can't usually hear anybody else's cars other than mine on these runs. Bring it on earsthumbup

GF,

Would offer you a lift, but need to be back in Godalming for 10am. If you think I can manage this or you want to start off in the Atom please let me know as I will have to put the passenger seat belts in.

I'm very tempted John!
Is Reigate out of the way for you before the start point?

Quick question: is anyone bringing a camcorder/video recorder? Would appreciate all footage from it because I've started making videos and putting them on YouTube, to make a joint video would be fantastic!

Just a quick note to anyone that needs th route. I am busy until about 5/6 o clock this afternoon, so will be able to answer questions on here with my phone, but not send the route instructions out as my phone doesn't want to!

I'm bringing my Spy Cam thing but I think it's only about 45 minutes recording time unfortunately.

Will send it over if it's any good though.

Looking forward to this!

Hmm, I'll take you up on that, if that's okay Neil! Never actually set foot in an Impreza yet! thumbup

ETA: Roof down in the MX-5 to wake up, Bramley to Crawley in the Impreza to defrost! Then back to the MX-5 biggrin
