Since that 'fatal' event... new rad/intercooler setup, mapping and higher boost level. Plus very vented bonnet that no doesn't flap alarmingly at over 80!

Engine beyond economic repair so an exchange engine from porsche being fitted by my OPC. Apparantly they are bench run in but I'll give it an easy 1k miles before using full revs. Keeping the new engine standard again.

YHM Craig. This is excellent news!

I hope mine will be quicker than Daz. Crate LS7, new engine bits including cam and a map. Something between the GMan ultima and the factory Ultima used to set the top gear times. Vmax may still be an issue but it will hit 100mph quite quickly!
