PistonHeads Drift Reminder: 22/10/10

Spaces are still available to join us at Silverstone to perfect the art of going sideways

Fancy doing this?
Fancy doing this?
Recently we announced our drift day, which is being held at Silverstone with Caterham cars, and I'm pleased to say that we have received a good level of bookings so far. Places are still available, however, so it's not too late to join us on the day, where professional drivers will teach you (and members of the PH team) how to hold a slide, and generally look like a hero.

It might look easy, but perfecting the art takes practise (so i'm told) and as a result you will be taken through activities varying in difficulty before attacking a fast flowing course to show off your new found skills at the end of the day.

In addition to having a great laugh, you will be fed throughout the day, too. All you need to bring is your driving licence and a book of excuses.

We'll launch these sessions with this event at Silverstone on the 22nd October, where we can accomodate up to 24 PHers. If demand is there we will hold more sessions at other venues around the country.

The day costs £225 per person and additional spectators can be added at the time of booking @ £10 (including lunch).

To book, call up the Caterham team on 01883 333700 or click here, and quote “PistonHeads drift school”. All customers who book on for the day will receive an information pack giving specific times, directions and additional information

For more information on the day, see the original drift day article.

Do you have to use one of their provided Caterhams or do you use your own car?

Is this a full day? Also how much time do you get behind the wheel?

2 spaces left I'm told.

The driving course has changed from old to give more time behind the wheel, but it's probably worth asking Caterham. I will ask myself too...
