Hi Guys

Just back from from some Griffith therapy

Actually I was checking the location for the Hants meet and thought there were some nice roads out that way. So I went home via the B2146 to Petersfield and then A272 to Winchester. Trip down was M27/A3

Just wondering if you guys want to meet up at Bishop's Waltham and go via the A272/B2146/Finchdean to Chalton? I guess we may wish to be early to get a seat - or book(?) Say 11am start and No coffee at the Little Chef?

Cheers
David

Hello,

Were you the 4 Tivs we passed on the 272 Saturday morning?
Always great to come across an unexpected convoy,
off to Goodwood weren't you?
We were visiting Dorset to meet up with D & C region
at Bovington tank museum.
By the way it's Ash Green and rather grubby now!!
Hope you had a good day .

Cheers

Yes we were on the way to Goodwood, nice day trip and any excuse for a blat, even though it was cold and wet .
Saw you wave though, hope you could see me waving through the dirt and rain on the windscreen .

Yep count me in any excuse for a blast
Best bounce this back a bit nearer the time, and clear with the new RO

April 25th. I'll pen it in.
How about arranging to meet with the Sussex lot if they are having a meet then too?

(Im write with complete inexperience in organisation of TVRCC meets!)

Would it be easy to email all us all with detaisl of meets. Most of the time I dont know they are occuring and usually end up having something else planned.

Dusty has a point about E-mail the Brighton 2 thread has 220 posts if you think im reading all them On a serious note,he is a prime example of people not being sure of where the meets are? Why is this?

I signed up to the yahoo email group thingy expecting to get emails of dates of events and meets etc but nothing apart from bickering so far! (take this light heartedly please!).

Surely we could use PH for gathering ideas and the yahoo group mail thingy for confirming them.
Or perhaps TVRCC forums for confirming them so that other regions can join us too.

The reason why we should use PH to gather ideas is because its a hell of a lot easier and quicker. And a lot of us use it at work during the day so things can move along a lot quicker*.
Plus, its hardly an undercover operation really is it. Who cares if a few other people turn up anyway. I doubt if anyone without a TVR anorak even reads all our garbage anyway. I know I wouldnt, its dead boring. Especially that geek that keeps on going on about about wanting a griff 500

*cant use TVRCC at work cos
1. huge banner displays that im not really working
2. cant always get in for some reason

RO thing - I feel I should let someone else take the region forward, so I'll step aside - no one big reason, just I feel I've gone as far as I can.

Is as in March Sprint (nearly), I'll still be going to these, be they just me, TVRCC or PH sanctioned events.

Er this thread started in TVR General, as it was a TVRCC meet. I posted again to bring to the top, as requested by Tony. Since I posted it has been moved to "Events" by an unknown moderator, hence my comment now looks a bit unecessary - that wasn't my intention.

I live in Bishops Waltham and have seen the NEW SEGARIS strutting it's stuff around the village. Be sure to attend... cos I know he will.

I'm taking my camera so if anyone can't make it, but wants to feel the noise, then email me and I will gladly share the pictures and if you're lucky... video too.*
