Hi there,

Another superb VMAX event !
Well done to Craig and the team, shame the weather made any photography pretty tricky. The fog made the shots just plain boring and I had to head home about 1pm as my fingers were parting company with my hands due to holding the camera in the cold.

Anyway heres some pics, a great range of cars today and great to see Doug's stunning 599 GTO and Rods Porsche 997 GT2 RS lick

Lets start with the 599 GTO

and a 599 HGTE being chased by a Mercedes AMG CLK DTM

and a standard Ferrari 599

Stunning GT2 RS

Mercedes CLK DTM AMG

R35 GTR with a nice Matt Black Wrap

996 GT3 MK1 all the way from France

BMW E39 M5 - 4 up !

Well don Jez, the Monaro done good

Awesome Corvette powered TVR Sagaris

Very bright Audi TT RS

Porsche 997 Turbo S, savage off the line !

Another 911, this time a 997 GT3 RS MK1

One of the nicest cars today a very well turned out RS6

Another Black GTR

Very pretty RUF 911

Thats real power off the line

One of my favourite photos of the day

GT3 RS MKII - great colour scheme

LuckyP in his GT3, shame the missus beat you today.

Hope you like the pics.
Will be setting up an on site hand car wash for the next VMAX, reckon I can make a fortune !!

Regards

Tim

A couple of videos - first one is of a few starts. Most people are tensed over the throttle pedal, waiting to floor it when the starter's hand drops... or if you're Vixpy, you just choose that moment to clean your windscreen

Second one is of my CSL against the red RS4, the BHP difference makes itself obvious quite quickly. But of all the videos posted so far, I like the soundtrack on this one the best. Turn it up loud smilesmile You can hear it all goes quiet a couple of seconds before crossing the timing beam, that's it running into the limiter.

Even better is that the last shot of the M6 and the Corvette is four up (with the BMW beards) - yet we still dropped.

We screamed though. A lot.
