Brooklands museum are starting their own breakfast club meetings on sunday 23 january 2011. albeit not a free even t but it meens that for an earlier ie start time you get a breakfast as well ae museum entry and i suspect a good turn out of all vehicles could be a good gap filler between the goodwood event .I beleive the brooklands event will be on or around that date monthly. Best look on the brooklands museum events calender.

The problem with Brooklands is that they always charge the £12 or so to get in, so it's £20+ every time (a bit vague, but I think you get it cheaper if you apply in advance)

edit: looking on their site, £50 for a family membership would seem to make sense .. perhaps not so bad after all, that's a reasonable donation to keep the place going, and get free entrance, so I retract that last comment!

I suppose you could also argue that £25 for a couple to get in is about equivalent to the petrol getting to Goodwood and back. smile

I got family membership, works out cheap if you live nearby smile You can also enter via the front gate and not have to park with the plebs over near MB World! I'll be there on New Years Day too.
