Me and the Mrs are heading to Honfleur the weekend of May 14 and 15th. Staying in a great little hotel with secure parking right in the centre of the town. Its about a 3 hour drive from Calais. Any fellow PH's interested in joining us and making a convoy of it?

Yes it is a great place to visit, grab a beer or a coffee by the side of the harbour chill out and watch the world go by.

Mrs biper and I used to go often. Catch the over night from P/mouth to L'Havre on Friday and return Sunday eve. However the last time we visited it was VERY expensive. G&T and a pint of lager £16.00 by the harbour, if you walked back a few streets it was cheaper, but that's not what you go there for. Accomadation costs have rocketed.

We head off up there after Le Mans for lunch on the Monday, before heading back to the Ferry. Lovely place.

So do we. Have done for years.
Gets the main part of the journey out of the way with a fairly predictable run to the port.

Used to do a mad dash from Le Mans have dinner at the harbour side on Sunday evening and then catch the midnight ferry from Dieppe back to Newhaven. Couple of times we were the last one on board and just made it by the skin of our teeth. Since then have been back a few times for a much more relaxing stay.
