1st North Hampshire Run of 2011 - April 10th

Hi All,

The 1st N.Hampshire Run this year will be on Sunday 10th April.

The run is about 100 miles, taking in some of our favourite roads.

It follows the usual format:

Departing at 7.00am from the car park by the Tesco petrol station at The Meadows, Camberley, Surrey (just off the A30).

For those who haven't attended a N.Hants Run before the route will take us on some of the best driving roads in North Hampshire with a nice mix of A and B roads, country lanes (some quite twisty & challenging) and a short stint on a motorway before arriving at our destination, Fleet Services on the M3. There we can grab some breakfast (lots of breakfast options there). It is also an opportunity to take pics and check out each others cars. There is also a comfort break about 1hr into the run.

Arrive as close to 6.40am as possible as we will be leaving at 7.00am sharp.

Like before the plan is to make good progress appropriate to road conditions and safety. There will be a couple of sweepers to help keep the group together, and for those who prefer a less enthusiastic pace, a sweeper towards the rear leading the way for you.

Remember this is a fun run; responsible and safe driving is the order of the day. We do look out for each other on these runs and work to keep the group together as best we can, hence the sweepers.

I'm up for this, but may wait along the route and join you on way out of Camberley, OR cut off early and not do breakfast, as I pass my house.
