Think the cat on my Goona 2.2 is breaking up (rattling like a good 'un), and it has been 'suggested' that I could just dispense with the thing, substituting with a suitabl link pipe, with no ill effects... that so?

Just get rid of it diesel cats arent tested on an mot and can't see its going to affect running in any way

Yep get rid of the CAT (blockage!!) she will run better and use less fuel
