Curious about fuel additives , do or don't they work? Particularly one called Pro Tec fuel line cleaner. Is there anyone out there with experience or opinion ?.

I`ve used Forte products for years and recommend them.Gas treatment and injector cleaner for petrol engines and fuel treatment for diesels.Forte only sell to garage professionals so you wont find it in the high street.Any business on www.goodgaragescheme.com will stock it as Forte run the scheme.

There's no benefit to them, if there was then you'd fine either manufacturers recommending them or fuel suppliers putting them in their premium petrol offerings

The only one IMV that works properly is tetra-ethyl lead. Love that smell.

I was very skeptical when the rep gave us all the "bull" but over the years I`ve had so many examples of its benefit and engine problems solved by just adding it to the tank, I do believe it works.I would not use it on my customers cars if I didn't.Remember this is Forte products and not just any old "additive" found in Halfords and the like.

Only cleaner I found that worked was BG44K (www.powerenhancer.co.uk)
