wobbly speedo

in a subaru kit car standard subaru speedo started to wobble rev counter not wobbling sensor problem or speedo itself?

not too sure to be honest 94 spec speedo so presume cable??

Most UK cars of that era had electronic which supplied speedo and ecu with signal. Some Jap versions used a short cable and the speedo head unit itself sent an electronic signal to the ecu.

Just look at the gearbox beside the dipstick to see if there is a cable. Cant really see much reason for a wobble unless the cable is on it's way out and sticking
