what would make a car foul up the rotor arm /dizzy cap in low miles , im getting heavy furry deposits after very little miles

leads , plugs etc are standard spec and good/recent , no mods to the ign system

Sounds like excessive movement in the distributor cam. Wear and tear?

Side to side yaw will accelerate wear of both the rotor cap and dizzi cap.

Make of car and mileage?

I assume you have not adjusted the distributor or altered the settings.

Have you changed any distributor components recently?

what's a distributor??? ;-)

Or more helpfully, has the condensor failed? I have seen caps/points/rotors that have suffered degredation from ozone due to excessive sparking, caused by the failure of the condensor capacitor??

My MR2 turbo did this, I assumed it was a poor quality aftermarket distributor cap.

its later elec ignition , no points/condensor

im not talking actual wear as parts making contact , it just seems to get the furry burnt build ups faster than id expect

might try another brand of cap /arm next time

moisture, makes any degradation show up so much quicker.
