Astra Compression Test

Hello all,
just a quick question, does anybody know what sort of psi I should be getting when pressure testing a 1.8 vauxhall astra 2003 plate?

I'd also ask them to move it to the engines forum, more likely to get a sensible answer and very little chance of it becoming an argument.

Surely any compression means the cylinder seals? Doesn't seem like there would be much of a half way house on it? Open to being wrong though!
