Massive air filter

I've replaced the air box in my 968-engined Porsche 924. There's a big gap behind the headlight where I can comfortably fit a massive cone air filter. My car makes 240bhp, one filter I have in mind has a capacity of 310bhp, and the next up has a capacity of 400bhp. I don't plan to tune the engine even up to 310bhp in the near future but my question is...

Assuming I can get good cold air flow to both sizes of filter, should I aim for the bigger one, or just stick to the 310bhp unit?

The air box doesn't fit in the engine bay.

I really dont think you would need a "massive" air filter for such a low output.

Even a quite small filter would be more than adequate. But yes, mounting it somewhere where it will draw cold air is good.

Theres room under the badge panel. Youll need a replacement bolt-on badge panel though. You can probably squeeze an S2 airbox in too...
