Reconditioning turbos

Can anyone give me an idea of how much it would cost to fully recondition a turbo?

Also interested to see how much I could hybrid one for?

A Peugeot 207 gti, the 175 thp variant. Not sure exactly what turbo it is on it tho.

Apparantly it's a BorgWarner/KKK K03, if that's any help.

Does it have variable vane?

K03 sounds familiar.

Depends entirely how badly damaged it was in the first place.

And what sort of warranty they will give you. In some cases, they can just be beyond repair and a brand new unit is required.

It's not the one on my car, it's a unit that is faulty that I wanna do as a spare or if I can hybrid it and keep the standard one that's currently on.

The impellers are damaged due to the diverter valve failing and the shards entering the turbo.

I get lots rebuilt, judging by what you have said it will be in the region of £300.

Hmmm that's tempting!

The only other alternative is the td05 16g turbo upgrade but id have to change all sorts to get that on.
