fitting a bearing

Im changing a bearing on the driveshaft of my car but needs pressing on. Everywhere is shut
Anyone in reasonable distance of Doncaster so i can get the job done today while its dry. Rain due tomorrow

Often a hammer can be used tapping gently around it with a blunt punch or similar. Depends how much force it actually needs

A bit of pine will also do the job quite nicely if it's a reasonably big bearing.

Well cheers for the advice. Used a hammer and chisel to get the old one off then used the old one and the hammer to put the new one on. All back together now It was the driveshaft support bearing on my Noble so hopefully cured the rattle!
