Wet plate clutches in a car?

Anything's possible, but it would be a huge amount of work and you will simply end up with higher transmission losses and more weight to carry around.
Why do you need to slip the clutch so much? Is the gearing too tall?
I didn't realise it would be such a large job. I love slipping the clutch on the bike while revving when doing slow manoeuvres; would have been nice to do so in a car with a nice exhaust note without burning the clutch out.Why do you need to slip the clutch so much? Is the gearing too tall?

It would be cheaper to invest in some driving lessons.Gassing Station | Engines & Drivetrain | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
