Honda Civic hatchback automatic gearbox

Does anyone know what type of auto box is fitted to the 2001-2005 Civic hatchback 1.6 vtec?
I want to know if it's a proper auto or cvt, I've googled it but can't find any info.

It is a proper old school torque converter 4 speed box
