alloy fuel tank query

Hi there,

My sprint and hill climb mini currently runs a standard injection tank with an in tank impreza pump, but i'm looking to downsize to a 1 or 2 gallon alloy tank. Something like http://www.alloyracingfabrications.com/alloy-2-gal...

I would like to avoid additional swirl pots (tank wont be much bigger than one anyway!) and low pressure pumps and rely on a gravity fed out of tank setup if possible.... Does anyone know if in tank pumps are the same as external pumps just with different fittings at the bag / filter end?

In tank specific pumps are in tank use only.

if you're getting a fuel cell made up, just buy one suitable for an in-tank pump.
Or just use an external pump.
