Can anyone here time a fuel pump for a 2.4 diesel ford transit?

As there's a long story to it, I've change the engine in my transit ice cream van and including fuel pump turbo ect... I have opened the fuel pump up on my snap solus to work on my ecu. Tried to start it but it won't run and has come up with timing fuel error, I have stripped the front end done and the cam lock pin up fine so does the fly wheel an fuel pump! So I have removed the fuel pump and took it to carwoods to have the timing checked, they have given me the pump back saying that all is ok, even tho I asked for timing to be checked, so I have rebuilt the van an still can get it to run still comes up with timing error. It sound fine on easy start just won't run off fuel.

Now the fun bit, the van needs to be at download festival Wednesday night and nowhere is open to check the fuel pump timing till Wednesday morning so doesn't leave me much time for error.

Anyone offer any help?

Cheers

Rich

As it's a ford, also ask on Passion Ford.

And the BBA Reman forum would be a good place to ask. ( Diagnostics based )

Whilst it does say a timing error...are any engine components coded to the vehicle and be posing a problem ?
