So i did it again!
I melted number 1 piston on my TVR 4.6 rover V8 and it has eaten slightly into the liner.
I know of Chesmans in Coventry but was wondering if there is somewhere closer (and cheaper) that could do the job.
Any recomendations or alternative ideas please

After a honing...

I placed a ring in there and there is an obvious gap still

Bound to be some local machines shops, yellow pages and all that ? they'd be able to source a liner ok. Blank liners are fairly generic anyway, then they get bashed in and drilled out a bit lol

It isnt an overly cheap process though.

Any of the guys over on the V8Forum recommend anywhere ?

Try Lancaster engines. Don't have a number, but they turn up on a Google.
