Hi Guys

It sounds like an output shaft bearing might have gone on my 106 so I'm looking for places to get it rebuilt. The box for the Rallye which I have is different to the xsi/gti etc so I would like to get mine rebuilt rather than just replace it with another, as rallye 'boxes are hard to come by!

So my question is, can anyone recommend a company or person who rebuilds gearboxes to me? I'm in Surrey near Guildford but I can ship the box as required.

Thanks! smile

I can put you on to a colleague of mine who runs a 106 who rebuilds those gearboxes to the highest quality with OE bearings and other parts. I'll check first if he's wanting to take on work but he'll do you the best job possible.

Just got Daves link to this thread. Matt, i can rebuild your box, I am in the northwest so it would need to be sent by courier, if you can find someone local and competent it could be more cost effective, just be certain they have experience with these boxes.
