Hi,

I have a custom 7 type chassis which I am fitting my engine to, obviously I need to get the engine/gebox/prop all aligned straight and level, are there any particular methods for this or is it just a case of a lot of time, patience and faffing?

cheers

Also, lots of measuring from known points on the chassis, i.e existing brackets.

I assume independant rear axle therefore the diff is fixed
There are different views however it does not have to be directly in line that's what the UJ's are for
The input pinion on a Suerra diff is cocked to one side, your driveshafts dictate where the pinion will rest.
Gearbox and engine in a Sierra sits tail down in a 7 near flat
Don't worry to much
