Exhausts more power

Hi , last year I purchased a Ss straight throu exhaust , have I lost mid power or do I gain? Some in our club seem to say I lose power? I have a v8 Xkr. 4ltr.

Same manifold? Difference in bore to standard?

Fitting parts to a car that make a difference to airflow through it, but not retuning the engine to suit these new changes can have a negative effect.

Not all engine setups will respond the same way, so there is no easy answer to your question. You may have gained, you may have lost.
If you have lost, the only way to regain and improve is by retuning the ecu.

Unlikely to produce a gain without other changes, could have caused a loss.

Hi i have also changed super charger pullies top and bottom. Seem to have a problem finding someone to remap.the 4ltr.
