Cleaning K&N air filter

Hi

I've cleaned my air filter first with petrol then rinse it inside out with water.
It's now gently drying since 22h00 last night.

The air filter is the Aircharger type.

Do I need to oil it after and if yes do I need to use the specila K&N Oil or could I use my trusted Mobile 1

You shouldnt use petrol on cotton gauze air filters! tttttttt!

TBH I'd just use any other oil that is used on a cotton filter eg the same sort of stuff produced by Green
