hi all,

need a bit of advice, I had a new mid section and back box put on my fiesta 3 days ago and since then it has developed a misfire/judder in 2nd gear, I was panicing it was the clutch so I tried setting off with high reves with handbrake on in forth and stalled, is this a good sign?

Is it the new exhaust maybe? or the dreaded clutch?

Your description is very vague.

It is almost impossible to have a misfire in a single gear. And a judder when ?

Are you trying to take off in 2nd gear ? When changing gear ? when trying to drive in that gear ?

Your clutch test may prove it has plenty of bite left, but that has nothing to do with a misfire. A better description of the problem is needed.

most if not all diesels will do this if your revs are too low when you try to accelerate away again, in any gear.
