Engine Oil

Ive just been brousing for some oil for when i service my car.

Castrol Magnatec £31.99 for 4L
Mobil Super 3000 £23.99 for 5L

I dont really work in that side of the trade anymore but Mobil always used to be thought of as the best oil.

So whats the deal hear has the Castrol got a lot better or am i missing something here ?

You're paying for the Castrol label, which is a bit silly because engines can't read. Buy by specification and not by brand. The ACEA system is designed for cars in the European market and works well. There is plenty of information online to explain how it works.
