X type cooling system

Is there a special way to bleed the cooling system on a 3.0 xtype? Have flushed and changed the coolant and now the heater will not blow hot air, car does not overheat and am not loosing any coolant. Temp gauge gets up to mid way on the dash and stays there? Any tips??

Down the front of the engine on the o/s quite low down there is the heater valves check the pipe work around here, the valves are very common to fail.

After having a good look around the engine bay I found the water pump had a slight leak, new pump, system bled and it's all good!
