Swapped engine/ gearbox but not rear end... advice?
Discussion
Okay, so I've swapped out my old Rolls Royce V8 with auto box with a Chevy 6.2 V8 and Tremec T6060 manual box. I've kept the Rolls rear end in place and interfaced the two with a bespoke driveshaft.
The rear end ratio for the Rolls is apparently 3.08 whereas the 2010 Chevy Camaro (which has the same engine/ gearbox combo) is 3.45. Obviously there's a difference but given the differences in tire size (the Rolls has smaller) should I revise the ratio from 3.08 to 3.45? Or do I get out the calculation books and work something out?
Note: The car has not driven more than a few yards so I've be able to gauge any potential issues yet.

It's entirely a personal choice. If you feel the gearing is too tall after driving, then change the diff. If you feel it is just fine, then leave it alone. The rear end ratio for the Rolls is apparently 3.08 whereas the 2010 Chevy Camaro (which has the same engine/ gearbox combo) is 3.45. What weight is the car and what size rear tyres are you using ?

Cheers. Apart from the engine and some other bits its all stock - the roller is massively over engineered so the extra power shouldn't need too much of an upgrade. What weight is the car and what size rear tyres are you using ?
