On the rollers my car started to go rich around 8000 rpm.

I've since had the inlet fanimould cut open and all the casting marks etc ground out and the whole thing smoothed out.
Anything else that can cause this? I'm running a 62mm throttle body with 60mm boost pipework and 57mm pipework on the intercooler (previous build)

Any thoughts?

I think you need to give a hell of a lot more information. And I think if the car is going rich at high rpm's, the solution would be for your tuner to remove some fuel...then it wont be rich anymore.

Or were there some other thoughts ?

Well you could start with what car / engine the engine mods, what ECU etc etc etc

Honda civic, 1.6 SOHC 16v.
And the bits that matter: Low comp forged pistons, Bisi 2.4 cam, Bloxx valve springs and retainers, RC750's, equal length ram horn, Skyline GTST turbo with ceramic wheel binned and housing milled out to accept T3 steel wheel, 3" downpipe and exhaust with rear silencer only.
Mapped on Neptune.

The list is by no means conclusive, but I think that's the bits that matter. What else ya need to know?

Then it sounds like you need to speak to whoever this "Neptune" mapper is, and ask them why it's going rich at high revs ?

Cant really see what anyone here would have to offer when we arent physically there or actually tuning the engine. Or indeed no actual data to say what "running rich" actually means

Or is there some issue with the tuner ?

No issue with the tuner at all. Not sure why you'd think that? He suggested the fanimould could be flowed to improve air flow, so that's been done.
It's going back on the rollers for more boost shortly, but wanted to try and eliminate any other air flow issues 1st to save going back again.

WTF is a Fanimould? I could guess, but in this context I fear I may be wrong.

Power is made in an engine by burning fuel with air at the correct ratio. You think you have too much fuel? Reduce the fuel. It is much easier to reduce the amount of fuel than increasing the amount of air.

What is too rich anyway? How much boost, and what AFR/Lambda?

Ha...fanimould = manifold.
I'm only going on what the tuner told me and I don't know what AFR...but it's at 15psi.

So basiclly, my intake system shouldn't restrict airflow? That's what my concern was. Now I've sorted the inlet anyway that is.

Why ? Because you're online asking why your car is rich. If your tuner was on the dyno and able to control fuel via the ecu, then your wouldnt be running rich ?
He would be able to tune fueling appropriately.

The engine doesnt simply run rich by itself, the tuner would have to be causing it, or if he thought there was a major problem, given he has the most information available to him, he would be able to make a diagnosis.

But simply running rich, is pretty much 100% a tuner issue.

The mapper or tuner dictates how much advance and retard and fuel goes in and out the map at given points in the rev range either to the correct lambda or to what the engines likes. If there is nothing wrong mechanically u need to look else wear !!!

As said take it up with the person pressing the buttons ......

My car had the same problem at high revs and it turned out the (modified) air filter was too small. You can find a calculator about 2/3 down this page.
