Is there anyone in the UK?

I can find plenty in the USA, but adding 150+ minimum to the cost of repairing my blower isn't appealing at all. Plus with a UK based specialist there's the potential for actually visiting and talking though what's required etc.

Unfortunately not had a response.

Any other ideas anyone?

I can't believe that there are so few people in the UK that could do this kind of work?

Lets face it...how much of a market is there ? And with typical UK labour/cost rates.....operating such a business would never be easy.

Between extortionate tax rates, and extortion ( ie tax ) itself....it's a miracle there are many businesses still able to operate at profit in the UK.

What's actually wrong with it ?

Maybe give the likes of Andy Robinson Race cars, Webster Engineering, Hauser Racing etc a shout ? They would maybe have contacts for stuff like that ?

Well there are plenty of supercharged cars out there.

Even with those costs it should be cheaper than shipping to and from the USA?

It overheated due to a failed bypass valve. the rotors expanded and touched the rear of the case. The case has minor scoring at the end, it just needs the high points taking down, not a big deal really.

The rotors need similar doing, but they could also do with being re-coated, it's an old unit and has lost all of it's graphite coating.

The rotor gears have dome wear, not enough that the rotors can contact each other, but enough to make it noisy and grumbly when not under load.

The rear needle bearings have never been replaced, so could do with it being done.

Basically it's an old unit that's had a hard life and needs a bit of a refresh.

I could buy the spare parts needed from Jon Bond performance, but I don't have the skills or tools to be able to time the rotors correctly and press out the old and press in the new rotors.

I also don't think I have the ability to set the rear needle bearing position correctly.
