I've got a Pulsar GTI-R, I want to increase the boost on it and I can't. I've currently got a bleed valve on it. It's running 10psi regardless of what I do (bleed valve, "1 bar boost loop" or standard setup). I tried removing the vacuum line to the actuator, in theory it should have built unlimited boost until the engine blows up, the reality was the same 10psi.

Does this point to a problem with my actuator?

Depends if you've removed the right hose, or fitted the bleed valve correctly.

Or it could be a turbo problem, engine problem, actuator, exhaust....etc etc

It's all plumbed in correctly. The turbo has been off, there are a few cracks in the wastegate housing but nothing that looked too bad.

It should be a boost line to your actuator, not vacuum. Are you sure you didn't just remove the vacuum line on your blow-off valve?

Does it have the standard boost solenoid fitted?
