So, on my Rover Mini MPI, after I've been driving the car for approx 20 miles or half an hour this noise starts to come from the clutch when I release it. It doesn't do it from cold.

You can hear it 20s into this video.

It isn't as loud as it sounds on that!

The car gets into gear fine, everything seems fine apart from the noise.

Any ideas? Thanks

It's fairly simple up in there, stick your head in and have a look to see if anythings loose

Or spray some lubricant in, white grease, PTFE or similar and see if it clears it up.

I'll have a look at the weekend when I'm free next, hopefully WD40 will do the job!

In the video the noise sounds inside the car, so unlikely to be the release bearing which is outside.

And WD40 is not a lubricant. It may free things up for a bit, but it will wash any lubricant away

Use white grease, PTFE spray or something similar which is a lubricant.
