Hi there,
A friend of mine has a Vauxhall Zafira 1.6 with the Z16 petrol engine and has a problem.
When driving along, you can hear a high pitched whistling noise coming from the rear of the car. There are no windows open and the noise goes away when the brake pedal is applied.
A garage have looked at it and said that it requires renewal of the rear brakes (these are apparently creating the whistling noise)
I was wondering if anyone had any experience of this, all advice is greatly received
