'53' Corolla 1.6 VVTI Low Idle & Shaking

Morning all,
A colleague of mine has a 53-reg Corolla 1.6 VVTI that, when idling is shaking (doing about 700rpm). Other than that, it's driving normally.
He's cleaned the MAF but it's still the same. A quick search suggests cleaning the idle control valve & throttle bodies but just wondered what you all think...?
