I've seen these on a few boosted builds from America, but no one seems to sell these in the UK and I wondered why...

They seem like a good, neat idea to minimise the plumbing for the vacuum feeds for BOV, wastegate, boost gauges etc - less places to leak from and get problems? but I also wondered how strong the vacuum signal would be taking them all from one place.

for those who don't know what I'm on about, it's this -

they seem a really good idea, but I cant find anything at all in the UK?!
does anyone have any experience and know any drawbacks with them?

does anyone know where I can find one with plenty of fittings in the UK? the shipping charges are extortionate for such a small CNC machined piece.

google ''vacuum blocks'', A place twenty mins away from me sells them, so I'd imagine you can get them over that side of the water

Exactly how many takeoffs do you need ?

And given they are so cheap in the US, postage is usually cheap...if there were many sellers in the UK, they'd probably be more expensive anyway.

And as most engines in the UK/Europe already have a good few takeoffs already, there is just less if any need. Plus Yanks like doing strange things sometimes.

And never take a wastegate feed off anything linked by a small hose to a map sensor, pressure reg etc etc

But in some cases yes they can be handy if used appropriately.

Search 'pneumatic vacuum manifold'.
This will find you all manner of blocks and fitting.
There are some very nice 'push fit' fittings but check they are suitable for vacuum.
