Diesel fumes in cabin, Fiesta 1.4 TDCi
Discussion
Are the fumes of burnt fuel, or unburnt diesel?
If it's unburnt diesel smell, then this is the problem I had after changing the injector seals. (same car)
Where the high pressure fuel lines fit onto the injectors, there is a small bit with male threads on each end that connects between the injector and the pipe:
As seen here with the red caps on:

While undoing the fuel lines to replace the seals, these joiners had come loose from the body of the injector, which I didn't notice until it was all back together and pissing diesel everywhere!
May not be your problem, but that's what happened to me...

As above or check the soild metal fuel lines, they are supposed to be replaced with the injectors for some reason (ford recomended) never change any yet and i've done a few injector reseals over the last few years but there is supposed to be an issue so it's a possability but IME it's usually the above or the cabin filter full of diesely crap from the leak before.
It will more than likely be the sealing washer at the bottom of the injector, this will be the sealing ring for the compression, you can normally tell just by listening to the engine, it will make a rush of air noise on the power stroke, to look at the engine the top will be covered in diesel soot.
